Plenty

Plenty is the terribly depressing drama about a young English woman Susan Traherne whose great expectations of post-war life are sadly disappointed. During WW2 Susan is an active member of the resistance movement in France and her experiences during the war make a great impression on her, but after the end of the war she cannot seem to find the challenges and the excitement that make her life worth living.
Susan's tragic life story is meant to symbolize the problems in post-war England.
