Everybody fools everybody else in this hilarious farce. The only decent character is Oz, a dentist, who lives in suburb of Montreal with his horrible French Canadian wife Sophie.
Much against his will Oz gets a thorough knowledge of contract killers and their profession through the film. The story begins when Oz discovers that their new neighbour is the former, but still notorious contract killer Jimmy Tudeski. Sophie suggests that Oz looks up Jimmy's ememies, the gangster boss Yanni Gogolak, in Chicago to reveal Jimmy's hide-out in return for a considerable reward. Little does Oz know that Sophie would rather see him dead than Jimmy. This is just the beginning of a very complicated and constantly surprising story.
