The Sixth Sense

The Sixth Sense is an extraordinary supernatural horror film by the totally unknown writer/director M. Night Shyamalan. His intention has obviously been more than just to give his audience a good scare. In contrast to the majority of horror movies, the film focuses less on boos and more on fully-fledged characters and drama that does not solely rely on horror elements. In fact, some of the scenes are even moving.
Cole Sear is a 9-year-old boy who is in desperate need of help. He has a terrible secret: he is haunted by ghosts, most of them not so friendly. Cole is afraid to tell anyone, because who would believe him? But then the child psychologist Malcolm Crowe takes on his case.
Compared to the ending of "The Crying Game", the ending of The Sixth Sense is not much less surprising!
